I'm left to ask if it would actually be a better strategy for NATO to pre-emptively strike all known missile silos along the north coast and take out the remaining missile carriers in the Black Sea, as well as take out any MIGs daring to test the borders? Given the state of the Russian military and the hardware, you could count on most of their ICBMs being non-functional - the corruption would have stolen any money allocated to maintenance leaving every tactical and strategic missile in the same condition as the tanks and guns given to the conscripts... Only Wagner seems to be fairly well stocked and that's just because they're mercenaries for hire.
