DeSanctis is an equally despicable asshole - but like Ted he'll face his own challenging fate, one that will touch his home life in the same way he's trying to fuck up everyone who is not on his bandwagon. Already politically his efforts are being overturned in court, throwing out those election fraud cases, and I believe the attorney suing him will also win but not without damaging everyone involved. Incompetence itself doesn't disqualify people but the stink of failure lasts a long time.

Maybe Sinema has the right idea - she has enough visibility now from being a pain in the ass for the Dems, she could potentially bring enough disaffected reds and blues over to form a centrist third party. Giving people a purple option to vote for could slap some sense into the other two and force them to purge the radical elements.
